Each year, the Pittsburg County Chapter of the OSU
Alumni Association is proud to host the Oklahoma State University
Honors Banquet. The Honors Banquet is designed to recognize the
academic achievement of the top 30 percent of area high school juniors,
while learning about opportunities available to them at Oklahoma State
University from OSU professors, administrators, and current students.
You
are invited to be an Alumni Host at this year’s Honors Banquet. Because
alumni are the University’s best ambassadors, join us in encouraging
the most outstanding students from this area to attend OSU. The Honors
Banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 23, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at Pete’s Place in Krebs and the cost per person is $25. Pistol Pete is joining us along with OSU officials and students. Be sure to bring your camera!
If
you are unable to attend, we invite you to sponsor one or more of the
students attending the banquet. The cost per student is $25. Financial
support from area alumni is important to the success of the Honors
Banquet as each student is invited to attend at no cost to them. Every
gift is greatly appreciated, and any gifts above the cost of the
banquet are used to support scholarships for area high school graduates
wishing to attend OSU.
Because this will be the first
opportunity many of these students have had to learn about Oklahoma
State University, we are diligently working to make this event a
success. Your support is greatly appreciated!
