Buck & Mary (Barber) Stewart Celebrating 30th Anniversary

Mary & I are celebrating our 30th Anniversary on June 9th. We are so happy that we continue to remain close to OSU, and that our children have benefited from their own education at OSU.

Hi, Just enjoying Winter Olympics in HKSAR and watched TV that updated news from Sochi in Russia every day. Except just don't understand why people still love to make deals on marriages talks or jealous action out of sports that they never understand the price for world peace. Do you agree, OSU folks?

We all grow up in the age of bombing. That's why we never take anything for granted. Just hope that Tokyo learn the lesson of the past not because it is a Japanese town. Simply because it was the first landing spot for the exiled Chinese to seek haven in the land of Japan from persecution in 500AD/BC? Don't know. Need to check the history book. So are we meeting Japanese, or Japanese mixed? That is the price between War and Peace.

Hi OSU Folks,

Just let you all know I finally register the library card as graduate of bachelor in Hong Kong Baptist University in this week.

Not that bad. At least has confinement usage of ITech when comparing to use the Yuen Long Public Library if not using Central Reference Library of Hong Kong in the Island.

Just miss everyone one here and look forward to the upcoming season to come, especially highlighted with the Homecoming Week of OSU 2014.

Go Pokes.

Carmen J. Chung.

P.S. Quite confusing to me in one unexpected incident happened early in the morning of Hong Kong Island about the remain of Second World War unexploded bomb today. Interesting to understand the Winter Olympics in Russia now. But how come the bomb not transported to the museum, but tried to exploded for the almost 70 years unexploded with clear rust already? So not chosen to put on the text in today's class note written here. Still station in Hong Kong SAR. Carmen J. Chung.

Hi OSU Alumni,

Just wondering how many of us have beening serving in SUAB? I did not serve in finance department ever, but enjoyed very much in the year ofr 1994-1995 as Issues and Ideas Coordinator working closely with the chairperson and vice-president, not finance. Thanks.

By the way, do we get back USD$100 scholarship still after serving for one year term? I check with the junior in the homecoming week of 2011 and this scholarship has been cancelled. I believe this tradition must be restored.

Happy Cowboys and Cowgirls year of 2014.

Anyone still miss Chili and Tea Chai? Carmen still the elephant don don!

Go pokes.

Good day of OSU Folks,

This is Carmen J. Chung, the former Guest Columnist of O'Colleqgian of 1993-1995. Still stationed in Hong Kong SAR during the Chinese Lunar New Year of 2014.

Enjoy the last day of public holiday of today in Hong Kong Time. Checked the updated news development of Thailand Election of yesterday. Just hope that they can make up by that 25% of voting not reached out to the polling station yesterday.

Enjoy of the enrollment of the local sports center club of Hong Kong Island today based on my general membership dated in 1991. Registered by Canada Passport because I don't know the intention of this years' Chinese New Year Soccer Games taken place in Hong Kong Football Center in this afternoon. Still very confusing to me as if the Jockey Game of horse racing of yesterday in Hong Kong SAR time.

Happy Chinese New Year of 2014.

Go Pokes and cheers,
Carmen J. Chung.

Hi, this is Carmen J. Chung, in Central District Hong Kong Island, Live. From Yuen Long New Territories to try to watch school TV for this morning. But hard to find an approved pub of which I don't understand why Hard Rock Cafe stays in Central's Lan Kwei Fong, but not Tony Roma in the official building? And no cultural spot in the past, but find Indo-China food and drink places now. Is it Hard Rock Cafe used to station in Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon Hong Kong? Then where is Tony? Just a query of the Hard Rock in Central's Lan Kwei Fong now. Thank you.

Have a nice day.

A Cowpoke Smile from Home.

I and a Friend will visit the School Business School Saturday Oct. 29th between 10:00 and 12:00 a.m. We may not attend games, but we can walk where we have walked before long ago between 1946 and 1954 and in recent years. I will check on the plans for the new Business Center and find out what will become of old Morrill Hall where most of my classes were taken.
